Mindy Drayer was a TV journalist for more than 25 years. She’s been an anchor/reporter throughout Ohio including cities of Delaware, Lima and Youngstown. She spent most of her career anchoring the weekend morning newscasts at NBC4 in Columbus.
Mindy currently hosts a TV show on Spectrum Cable called Conversations. A 30 minute show featuring in-depth interviews with Ohio’s biggest names.
Every Sunday afternoon, Mindy co-hosts a radio show on 610 WTVN called What Matters With Mindy and Mikaela. Together, the two former news anchors talk about anything that matters to Central Ohio and beyond.
Mindy is married to Randy Kortokrax, the head coach of the boys varsity basketball program at Bishop Hartley High School. Her two children, son Kylan and daughter Kami play basketball, baseball, and softball at Hartley as well. If you don’t see Mindy at their games, you’ll hear her! She’s a loud/proud wife and mom! Her children also keep Mindy busy with their hectic travel ball schedules.
Mindy has three other children as well. However, they each have four legs and plenty of fur. Their names are Hoops, Whopper, and LC.
She is a 1991 graduate of The Ohio State University.
Mindy is a strong advocate for promoting kindness and speaking up against animal cruelty.
